What are Jorts? One of the fashion industry’s most undervalued assets, Jorts are the common name for Jean Shorts. Often worn by celebrities and other incredibly forward-thinking individuals, they are a staple of any well-rounded wardrobe.
How did Jortstock begin? It all started back in 2007 in Oxford, Ohio … the home of Miami University. Six undergraduate students set forth to make an annual event to celebrate Jorts and all that they contribute to society. The event is now in its sixth year and continues to evolve and grow with an ever increasing pace.
Where have I heard of this before? We're not surprised that you're familiar with the event; Jortstock has gained international fame and recognition over the past few years. Regional events have been held as far away as Uganda and have even been featured on DIY Network's Desperate Landscapes.
